Performing Arts Club Presents Two Short Plays

The Performing Arts Club, under the direction of Meghan O’Rourke, presented two dramatic pieces this afternoon. Parents, relatives, and friends filled our library for the premiere performances on our intimate library stage. Ms. O’Rourke chose two plays that allowed kids to play characters their own age. The first play dealt with a unique approach to handling school detention, while the other explored children’s reactions to the development of their natural world. It created a delightful afternoon for the audience! Congratulations to all the performers.
