4th Graders know the best part of a Thanksgiving Dinner… THE DESSERT! Yesterday and today they held their annual Pie Feast – a celebration that “cuts to the chase.” Day 1 is all about preparation. Parent volunteers bring in ingredients, recipes, and a bit of patience! Through their work, students get to see what goes into a homemade pie.
The pies went home with the parents and returned for Day 2 fully baked. Today was all about one thing… EATING!
As building leaders, Mrs. Elconin and I had the professional responsibility to visit each 4th grade classroom (and there are eleven of them!) to personally insure the quality of our student work! We can assuredly say, “Job well done.”
