The New Netbook Lab Opens

Our new technology assets arrived at the end of the summer.  Our dedicated technology staff has been working furiously to install all necessary educational and productivity software to transform these machines into powerful learning tools.

Here we see Mr. Tetro’s 3rd graders on their first visit to the newly renovated Netbook Lab.  They are learning the fundamentals of logging into our school’s wireless network. (Did you know that 100% of our indoor real estate has wireless connectivety?)

The state-of-the-art furniture was purchased through a generous donation from the PTA.  Wheels on all chairs and tables allows for a very flexible learning space.  Within moments the furniture configuration can transform from whole class learning to dynamic small group experiences.

It was apparent from the reaction of our students that the lab definitely has the “Cool Factor”
